Palm trees aren't really a tree that can easily be maintained unless you have the right tools, equipment and skill!

Cocos Palms (Syagrus romanzoffiana) come from South America and we're brought here to Australia as an ornamental garden tree. They grow quite quickly and reach a height of about 15 metres.

So although the ones we worked on at Orange Box Storage in Lonsdale are tall, they'll be growing much taller and will always require frond maintenance. And at a potential height of 15 metres, pruning Cocos Palms gets trickier each time. So it's definitely worth thinking carefully about weather to plant them on your property!
