Sometimes it's safer and necessary (for a variety of reasons) to use an elevated working platform to complete a tree job.
You do not need to be an Arborist/Tree Climber to use an EWP, but if you are having a tree removed or tree work done at your place you should always hire a qualified Arborist regardless of whether they climb the tree or use an EWP.
A qualified Arborist has industry training and experience, whom use safe and correct techniques. They ensure limbs are rigged, cut and dropped safely to avoid damage to other plants and property.
Before hiring your Arborist, make sure they're insured (after all, accidents can happen) for your peace of mind.
Tree services and tree removal can be made easier with the help of EWPs. These platforms require a licence to operate. They can be dangerous and cause damage and harm.
If you get a quote from a tree business and they want to use an EWP, be sure to get another quote as EWP aren't always required and may add additional costs to your quote.
