Usually working behind the scenes, my wife Anna joined me on site today. She has studied Conservation and Land Management, so she is equipped with her chainsaw ticket, fell small trees ticket, chemicals card and small machinery ticket. She's more than qualified to work alongside me! She also has knowledge of native trees and plants and is always keen to see invasive species removed and replaced with natives.

On days other than today, Anna is a full time mother and to our young childrenand runs the household. She also takes care of all of our administrative work, bookkeeping, letterbox drops and ordering for the business. Truly a family tree business!

In order to keep groundcrew safe while performing tree work, we're all wearing safety helmets with Bluetooth headgear. With the use of microphones and special earmuffs, we're in constant communication with one another.

So when I'm climbing a tree and am about to drop a large limb, the groundcrew know to keep clear! It also means no shouting out to one another!

My phone is also connected to my headgear, so I'm usually able to answer calls from customers right up there in the tree!

On this job, the neighbours tree, that is hard up against the customer'sback fence was hanging far over into their yard and lessening their usable and sun filled space.

We removed all overhanging limbs, all the way to the top of the canopy!

The customers are excited to have gained the space back in their backyard!

If you have a neighbours tree hanging over into your yard space, we're happy to come and cut it back and neaten it up for you.

Using our chipper, we can mulch up all of the removed foliage for you or we can alternatively can remove it from site altogether.
